law school does weird things to your brain
for instance, upon seeing a “guarantee” on the back of a bottle, you will silently wonder-is this guarantee enforceable?  and quickly, you will conclude that no, the guarantee could not be enforced, for who would the parties be in that lawsuit?

Anonymous asked: You don't know this, but you are my role model. I don't know how you balance your life, but you seem to do it with conviction and class and I'm in awe that it's even possible. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration to me. Really.

if i ever make it out of here alive...
i will seriously consider writing a book about it (and the challenges of attempting to balance motherhood and law school).  takeaway right now?  hopefully, that for every time i’ve had to leave the house and connor, there’s another time that i’ve left law school to go play with him. (something along the lines of equal and opposite forces).

Law school word of the day
Majoritarian.   a traditional political philosophy or agenda which asserts that a majority (sometimes categorized by religion, language, social class or some other identifying factor) of the population is entitled to a certain degree of primacy in society, and has the right to make decisions that affect the society. (via http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majoritarianism)

My grandma used to make it for us, but she called it milk pie. I guess these guys call it ‘Bob Andy’ pie.
